Yacht charter for the Aeolian Islands

432 yachts in the catalogue from €1,030/week

Based on current catalogue prices. Availability and final price are confirmed for your dates.

For an Aeolian yacht charter, compare the north-Sicily departure base as carefully as the boat. Capo d'Orlando, Portorosa in Furnari and Milazzo provide different handover and arrival plans for the same island-area enquiry.

Charter Easy is a charter agency. We help compare offers and support you before, during and after your trip.

Planning your charter

Compare three north-Sicily departure areas

Spartivento names a Capo d'Orlando base, and the marina describes its technical services, boatyard and commercial gallery. Portorosa is another operator departure: Sunsicily places its base between Capo Milazzo and Capo Tindari on northeast Sicily's coast. Jonio Yachting identifies its Milazzo base at Poseidon Marina.

These examples identify real operator locations; they do not make every Aeolian-bound yacht available at all three starts. Open the departure that suits your arrival plan, then verify the particular yacht's collection and return marina in the confirmed offer.

Understand the Portorosa and Furnari names

The Comune di Furnari places Portorosa and Tonnarella within the municipality's coastal Furnari marina area. That makes Portorosa a precise facility reference when comparing a Furnari departure. Sea Folk also lists its Portorosa base on Via Prestipaolo in Tonnarella.

Keep the facility name in your travel instructions. A Furnari search gives a departure area; it does not remove the need for the operator's actual check-in location. The municipal relationship helps explain the names without creating a second town or making other Sicilian bases interchangeable.

Plan the arrival stages before committing

Spartivento names Palermo Punta Raisi and Catania Fontanarossa as airport references for its north-Sicily operation. It identifies Capo d'Orlando-Naso for its Capo d'Orlando base and Novara-Montalbano-Furnari for Portorosa. Those are operator reference points, not equal transfer times or a guaranteed connection.

Sunsicily says an onward transfer is needed from Novara-Montalbano-Furnari to its base. Match the flight or rail arrival to the operator meeting arrangements for your yacht. Check the current transport service and ask for a transfer to be confirmed before relying on it.

Keep the island plan and offer details together

Visit Sicily describes Milazzo-to-Vulcano sailing as an Aeolian excursion and distinguishes this northeastern archipelago from the western Egadi. Tell Charter Easy which island area you want to explore, your dates, group and preferred charter arrangement so the shortlist starts with the right departure context.

Compare the actual cabins, berths, equipment, skipper or crew service, mandatory extras and deposit. A destination relationship supplies planning context, not a fixed route, passage time or safety assessment. Current sea information and the charter company's confirmed arrangements remain part of planning the particular trip.

Questions before you choose

  • Is Portorosa a separate town from Furnari?

Portorosa is within Furnari's coastal area according to the municipality. Use the actual facility and operator meeting point when arranging travel for a Furnari departure.

  • Which Milazzo marina does a charter use?

Jonio Yachting names Poseidon Marina as its own base. Other offers need their own location confirmation; the city name alone does not identify every yacht's berth.

  • Which airports are reference choices for these starts?

Spartivento lists Palermo Punta Raisi and Catania Fontanarossa for its north-Sicily operation. Confirm the final transfer for your selected base rather than assuming the same journey from either airport.

  • Can I use an Egadi itinerary for an Aeolian departure?

They are different island areas. The Egadi lie off western Sicily; the Aeolian Islands lie northeast. Discuss the intended route from the selected north-Sicily base for your dates.
