Sailing around Bodrum

100 yachts in the catalogue from €1,800/week

Based on current catalogue prices. Availability and final price are confirmed for your dates.

Choose your side of the Bodrum Peninsula before choosing the yacht: the Bodrum area, northwestern Yalıkavak and Türkbükü’s northern bay offer different departure choices. Then discuss Gökova or the Datça coast in relation to the actual start and charter dates. The regional catalogue group also includes the separately named Bozburun departure, so check each boat’s boarding location as you shortlist.

Charter Easy is a charter agency. We help compare offers and support you before, during and after your trip.

Planning your charter

Choose the peninsula departure you mean

The Bodrum departure area has separately named catalogue bases at Bodrum Marina, D-Marin Turgutreis and Gumbet Limani. Turgutreis is on the western peninsula; Yalıkavak is a distinct northwestern choice, while Türkbükü occupies a northern bay. Use the individual departure pages to narrow the locality, then confirm the collection and return address on the yacht offer.

Milta Bodrum, D-Marin Turgutreis and Yalıkavak Marina have their own named locations. A photograph or a destination label does not assign your boat to one of them. The opening photograph shows wooden sailing vessels below Bodrum Castle; your handover instructions should identify the actual marina or port for the booked yacht.

Discuss Gökova and Datça as distinct coastal choices

Gökova Gulf lies between the Bodrum and Datça peninsulas. Çökertme, Ören, Akbük and Sedir Island are named places within that gulf setting. Bodrum’s own coast also includes Bitez, Gümüşlük and Turgutreis, with Karaada and Orak Island offshore. These names help explain which waters interest you when you enquire about a yacht.

Datça has separate Aegean-facing and Mediterranean-facing bays, with Knidos at the peninsula’s western end. Describe the coast you want to explore and the time you have. The operator can discuss a plan for the chosen boat and dates; a list of places does not establish a route that every departure can complete.

Read the regional results by their actual starts

The Bodrum regional filter is a broader catalogue group: alongside Bodrum, Yalıkavak and Türkbükü, it records Torba and the separately named Bozburun start. The group name should therefore help you browse, while the departure stated on each yacht determines where the enquiry begins. Use an exact departure filter when a particular peninsula locality is essential.

Bodrum is also part of Turkey’s gulet boatbuilding tradition, which has distinct regional designs. That cultural background does not replace the particular yacht’s cabin plan, equipment or service description. Compare the actual boat and ask whether skipper or crew services are included, obligatory or optional in its dated offer.

Bring the marina, service and arrival plan together

Milas-Bodrum Airport’s public transport link is to Bodrum’s bus terminal. Confirm the onward arrangement to your actual marina, especially when your enquiry concerns a different side of the peninsula. Send Charter Easy the preferred departure, travel dates, party size and yacht needs so we can help narrow the offers and clarify details with the operator.

Read the charter price alongside known mandatory charges and marina payments, keeping the refundable deposit separate. For a bareboat enquiry, have the charter company confirm the required documents for the selected yacht. Use MGM’s current forecast for the relevant Aegean or Mediterranean waters and the competent authority’s navigation notices as the trip plan develops.

Questions before you choose

  • How do Bodrum, Yalıkavak and Türkbükü departures differ?

They are separate boarding choices. The Bodrum departure area includes named bases such as Bodrum Marina and D-Marin Turgutreis; Yalıkavak is on the northwestern peninsula and Türkbükü is on its northern shore. Confirm the exact collection and return base on your yacht’s offer.

  • Does the Bodrum regional filter only show peninsula departures?

The catalogue group also records the separately named Bozburun start. Check the departure on each yacht, and use the exact Bodrum, Yalıkavak or Türkbükü departure filter if that is where you want to board.

  • Can I plan a charter around Gökova or Datça?

Describe the particular coast and duration in your enquiry. Gökova lies between the Bodrum and Datça peninsulas; Datça has different Aegean-facing and Mediterranean-facing bays. The operator should discuss the proposed waters for the actual yacht, start, dates and current conditions.

  • What should I confirm before arranging my arrival?

Confirm the marina or port, collection and return instructions, boat accommodation and service scope. Clarify known charges and separate deposit terms, and arrange the onward journey from your chosen arrival point to that exact base.
