Choose the part of the coast that fits your plan
Cannes, Antibes and Menton are separate Riviera cities. The Lérins islands lie off Cannes, and the Estérel coast is between Cannes and Saint-Raphaël. Further west, Hyères and Bormes-les-Mimosas give you different mainland starting choices opposite the Îles d’Or setting.
The Gulf of Saint-Tropez needs its own marina choice: Les Marines de Cogolin and Port Grimaud are separate waterfront locations. Port Grimaud’s canals are also distinct from the inland Grimaud village. Use the departure pages to narrow that collection decision before choosing an individual yacht.
Check the marina behind the regional search
A coast-wide catalogue search can include Provence departures as well as the eastern Riviera. Read the actual departure on each offer: the Saint-Mandrier start uses Port Pin Rolland, while the recorded Marseille start is Corbières. A regional label or a familiar city photograph does not identify the yacht’s handover berth.
Cannes, Golfe-Juan and Menton also have distinct harbour facilities. Keep the chosen yacht’s collection and return marina with your travel plan, and confirm the operator’s arrival instructions. Nice airport and rail links provide eastern Riviera travel context; arrange the final transfer to the confirmed base separately.
Match the yacht, service and island ideas
Compare the boat type, accommodation, equipment, dates and guest count on specific offers. Check included, obligatory and optional skipper services and ask the charter company about any document requirements for a bareboat request. The final service and accommodation need to fit the actual people travelling.
Porquerolles and Port-Cros have separate national-park marine rules for vessel movement and mooring. If these islands are part of your plan, consult the current official documents and discuss the proposed visit with the operator. Read the complete quotation too, including known charges, marina payments and the separate deposit.
Use current planning for the coast concerned
Météo-France’s mistral information concerns Provence, the lower Rhône valley and Mediterranean coast from the Camargue. It describes stronger tendencies in winter and spring while noting that summer events can occur. Use current forecasts for the proposed waters and Shom’s nautical updates when building the voyage plan.
