Planning your charter
Confirm the boat's joining place in Black River
Yacht Management places La Balise Marina in Black River on Mauritius's west coast. Use that local setting when reading your chosen offer, and check its departure and return base details. Obtain the operator's exact meeting address, contact and joining time before finalising your arrival arrangements.
The map provides a provider point for orientation in the departure area. Keep the selected boat's joining instructions alongside your travel booking so that your arrival plan follows the confirmed appointment. Ask Charter Easy to help clarify the boat, dates and boarding arrangements with its operator.
Plan land travel around the joining appointment
Airports of Mauritius identifies Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport at Plaine Magnien. Use the airport's full name when reviewing your own travel plans, then check how those plans fit the yacht's confirmed joining time and hire period.
Share the relevant arrival details when enquiring about the boat. Ask about any pickup or other service you want and check its scope and price in the selected offer. Confirm the departure and return bases together with the dates before booking the land transport you need.
Consider La Preneuse for a local shore interest
Mauritius Now places La Preneuse beach on the west coast in the Black River area and identifies a Martello defensive tower there. The beach and its historical tower give you a specific subject for independently arranged time ashore around your hire.
Choose the shore interests that suit your group and check their visitor arrangements for your dates. Keep those plans separate from the operator-confirmed meeting place and boarding instructions for the yacht.
Add a western island interest to your plans
Mauritius Now lists Black River Gorges National Park and Chamarel Waterfall among the western island's places of interest. The park is an inland nature subject, distinct from the Black River yacht departure. Consider these land interests when arranging time before or after your hire, and check the visits you want separately.
For a food interest, the same tourism source mentions street food in Tamarin Bay. Discuss your preferred shore plans alongside the confirmed boat arrangements, and check any meals or services you want aboard in the selected offer.
Review the yacht and its terms before travelling
Check the boat's recorded dimensions, cabins, berths, bathrooms and equipment against your group's needs. Request missing specifications and clarify the skipper arrangement: included, required and optional services have different scope and charges. If you intend to skipper the yacht, ask Charter Easy to check your documents with the charter company.
Keep the charter amount, mandatory charges, marina payments and refundable deposit as separate parts of the quote. State the intended hire period and ask for confirmation of the boat and dates with its operator. You can contact Charter Easy before departure, during the hire and after returning for help coordinating questions about the arrangements.
