Choose between Sardinian and Sicilian starts
Recorded catamaran departure choices include Portisco, Cannigione, Olbia, Porto Rotondo and Cagliari in Sardinia, alongside Palermo, Marsala, Trapani, Furnari, Capo d’Orlando and Milazzo in Sicily. These are separate starting decisions; check the selected boat’s actual base before comparing travel plans.
The Maddalena Archipelago is in northeast Sardinia. In Sicily, the Aeolian Islands northeast of the island and the Egadi off Trapani and Marsala create different geographic choices. Use the regional pages to settle that direction, then compare the catamaran offers at a workable departure.
Keep the arrival plan specific to the base
Mainland and island starts also differ around the Gulf of Naples. A Procida pickup needs its own island arrival plan: Sailitalia lists access from Naples’ Molo Beverello and Calata Porta di Massa and from Pozzuoli. Confirm the current service and onward meeting instructions against your yacht’s check-in.
Porto Rotondo needs an equally precise base check. Yachting in Sardinia names Punta Nuraghe and Punta Asfodeli as charter locations there. Choose a boat by the address in its confirmed documents, rather than assuming every Porto Rotondo offer has the same handover.
Compare the individual catamaran layout
Read the actual cabin and berth plans, equipment and guest capacity for your group. When a skipper or crew is requested, confirm their accommodation and which guest berths are available under that arrangement. Compare those details for the same travel dates before ranking the boats.
Check the precise charter mode and service line. Optional, obligatory and included skipper arrangements need different confirmations; the catamaran label cannot resolve them. Charter Easy can help check the operator’s document requirements for the selected yacht and destination.
Compare the full catamaran offer
Set out the stated charter fee, compulsory costs, marina payments and refundable deposit for each shortlist boat. Clarify fuel, mooring and service treatment in its own terms. Spartivento separates such items from its charter fee, illustrating why an apparently similar headline price needs an offer-level comparison.
Ask Charter Easy to reconcile missing details and confirm the chosen yacht and dates with the charter company. For the departure plan, use current sea-area forecasts and nautical updates for the waters you actually intend to visit; the boat type does not provide a sailing-condition assessment.
